The Idiot Box, aka The Television Set

Like most Americans I watch the idiot box, but perhaps not as much as the typical couch potatoe. The following are my favorite TV shows, although I will only go out of my way to watch Highlander, X Files, and Babylon 5 (we'll miss you Claudia!). Have to say I also enjoy NYPD Blue, along with Bab 5 I'd say its one of the best written shows on TV.

Babylon 5 - My local station moved the show to monday's at 11pm - arrrgh! The promos for TNT are looking pretty damn good!
(For more information just use your fav search engine.)

Highlander - what can I say, this season basically sucks, although the episode with Fitz was one of the best I've seen. The producers should just end the show ala Forever Knight instead of putting us through this tryout period for USA. And where's Amada damnit?

The X Files - Previews from next year's film are pretty lame, but I'm looking forward to it. The Scientology spoof on Millinium (the only episode of the show I've watched) was decent - maybe I'll start watching that series too, although fox pissed me off when they moved the X Files to Sunday. Chris is doing an excellent job moving the story along, although he could learn a few points from JMS.

Drew Carey - unfortunately with my work load I've missed several episodes, hopefully can fit them in during reruns!

A&E's Biography

Don't ask me why Time/Warner of Cary, NC carries 3 home shopping channels and wont carry the history channel, ( sigh - I know, it all comes down to money...), but at least we get A&E and their excellent series Biography. I simply enjoy reading science fiction and biographies.
